Laia Bové Imhoff is a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher. She has been teaching yoga since 2013 and is passionate about bringing the benefits of this ancient practice to people around the world.
Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Laia was a competitive figure skater from an early age who trained as a sponsored athlete under the FC Barcelona and Catalan Federation Winter Sports programs. It was through this training that she first learned the importance of integrating flexibility, mental stability, and strength into her life.
After retiring from competitive figure skating, Laia began her professional athletic career, skating for Holiday on Ice in Europe and proceeding to join the cast of Disney on Ice touring globally for several years. It was during this time at Disney that she began to integrate yoga into her physical training.
After retiring as a professional performer and realizing the undeniable benefits of the yoga practice, Laia continued to utilize yoga as a tool in her life and began to pursue education in the field, including certification by the AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America) in 2012 and following with professional yoga trainings with RYT-500 Nichi Green, and her 200h training with RYT-500 Claire Santos in Miami, FL. Laia continues to participate in workshops and trainings in order to further her knowledge and be able to reach more and more people who can benefit from yoga.
Laia specializes in teaching Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, as well as instructing targeted training for World and Olympic figure skaters all over the globe. She is committed to bringing yoga to people of all backgrounds and abilities and strives to help people find joy and health in their lives.
